James Halliday Wine Companion 2022
“84 months on lees. Slightly cloudy in the glass with flecks of straw gold. On the nose this has delicate cheesecloth, lemon pith, oyster shell and brine. On the palate this follows suit, it is chalky, fine, balanced and long – a gorgeous expression of the blanc de blancs style. Very, very fresh.”

About Silverstream
Planted in 1997 on the Western End of the Bennett Ranges in Great Southern’s Denmark the site was created to specialise in cool climate varieties. Since ownership began with the Ruse family in the early 2000’s a strong commitment to Organic and Biodynamic farming was undertaken, resulting in wines with great purity. The Riesling, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay shows the poise of cool climate growing and the Cabernet Franc is a specialty made into a number of different styles. With Michael Garland taking on full time winemaking duties the Silverstream wines are in good hands.
