About Woodlands
Woodlands was established in 1973 (nearly 50 years ago now!) by David & Heather Watson, making it one of the first five vineyards planted in the Margaret River region. With an annual production of 12,000 cases, Woodlands is very much a boutique operation compared with the wineries it ‘grew up with’. David’s son Stuart is the of Chief Winemaker, and Andrew is the Commerical Director.
The cellar door is well worth a visit with seated tastings indoors or outdoors overlooking one of the most picturesque vineyard sites in Margaret River. To complement your free tasting there is a vast arrange of local and international cheeses and charcuterie to purchase. You’d be well served to make a booking in advance.
